CBD Gummies

Background: I was diagnosed with depression 11 years ago and have taken a variety of anti depressants over the years with varying degrees of success. Most recently I was on Cymbalta with a decent amount of relief. I’ve had sleep issues for the past several months and finally scheduled a sleep study to see why (I get the results of the sleep study this Friday). I weened myself off of the Cymbalta a week before my sleep study. *Never stop anti depressants cold turkey!* I tried being off of my anti depressants for two weeks and with everything else going on in my life right now, its not working. So instead of hopping back on the Cymbalta, I am trying CBD. Full disclosure here, my psychiatrist advised against this because he said not enough studies have been done on CBD products for depression.

What is CBD? It’s a cannabis compound with the THC taken out. So it won’t get you stoned in any way. But it still has the medical benefits, some of them at least. Since it can’t get you high, it’s able to be purchased without a card or prescription. Fair warning from the get go, it’s pretty damn expensive. https://www.projectcbd.org/what-cbd This site has a good deal of information and background.

As it is on the pricey side and I’m on the less financially well off side, I purchased 6 CBD gummies for $22.95 before investing big money. Each gummy is 20mg of CBD. I’m going to start taking one a day tomorrow morning and see what happens. I’m going to chronicle the experiences here in case anyone is curious 🙂

In case you’re curious, this is the store I purchased from. http://www.cbdkratomshops.com/ If you’re in the area, or even if you’re not (they deliver for free if your purchase is over $50), I highly recommend them. They had a huge selection and the staff were very helpful and well informed.

If you have questions, please feel free to comment here and I’d be happy to answer them the best I can.
